NanoLEDs are ideal sources for fluorescence lifetime applications. They are compact, easy to use, and are extremely reliable - all sources feature 12 months warranty as standard. HORIBA Jobin Yvon IBH has been designing fast pulsed light sources since the 1970s and experienced spectroscopists appreciate the quality of optical pulses produced by the NanoLED system. The NanoLED system consists of a NanoLED controller (stand alone module or FluoroHub card) module and a range of interchangeable NanoLED sources (see opposite), each designed for use over a specific wavelength range. LED-based sources generate nanosecond pulses, while LD-based sources generate either picosecond or nanosecond pulses depending on the version ("H" suffix indicates high intensity version with nanosecond pulse).
NanoLED sources are an ideal upgrade or alternative source for your existing fluorescence lifetime system.
NanoLED has been developed to meet the demands of precision time-domain fluorescence spectroscopy. Other applications include:-

Each NanoLED source contains adjustable light collection optics and a bayonet mounting flange to make incorporation into any optical system easy. Dedicated drive electronics in each NanoLED source means that swapping NanoLEDs simply involves removing a self-latching connector from the rear of one NanoLED source and plugging it into the next. NIM and TTL sync pulses allow straightforward triggering of your existing data acquisition electronics.
