Jobin
Yvon (JY) installs HORIBA Carbon/Sulfur, Oxygen/Nitrogen
and Hydrogen Analyzers at Shiva Technologies.
Jobin Yvon Inc. (JY) celebrated in January, with much excitement and Champagne, the installation of the latest technology in C, S, O, N and H analysis at the headquarters Laboratory of Shiva Technologies in Syracuse, New York, USA. The installation of two HORIBA EMGA Analyzers for the determination of low concentrations O, N and H and one HORIBA EMIA Analyzer for determination of low concentrations C and S begins a partnership between JY and Shiva. The alliance combines the 20 years of HORIBA's experience in gas analysis technology with the expertise of Shiva Technologies for ultra trace analysis. During the installation, extensive training was provided to the Shiva's talented, expert team for their applications on the EMGA and EMIA Series instruments.
Shiva's reputation as a leading trace elemental contract laboratory is further strengthened with the expanded analytical capability offered by the EMGA and EMIA analyzers for low level C, S, O, N and H detection in any type of material. The HORIBA EMIA/EMGA Analyzers offer unique features such as temperature programmability and ramping control and automatic phase recognition.
The Shiva laboratories in the United States, Europe and India focus on trace and ultra-trace elemental analysis of solid inorganic materials such as metals, semiconductors, ceramics, carbides, graphite, etc. Shiva Technologies has many accreditations including ISO-9002, NADCAP, GE-S400E, Pratt & Whitney, DOE (NNSL) and DCS Approval. As Specialists in Spectroscopy, Jobin Yvon manufactures high performance systems and components for a broad range of applications in scientific research and industrial analysis. JY is part of the HORIBA Group - a world leader in the field of automotive exhaust analysis, environmental and medical analyzers, as well as semiconductor and scientific instruments. JY is ISO-9001 accredited.
