Analyst now features full internal and external multi-tasking while in a sequence of analysis with dramatically improved database access speed. A new "Rapid Analysis" mode is offered featuring optimized analysis for manual measurements with fast access to parameters, allowing for measurement sample by sample in an arbitrary order. "Rapid Analysis" also allows the analysis of urgent samples during a routine sequence.
The results editor allows replicate editing on both sample and standard to ensure better results. Audit trails allow easy identification of changes because all changes are time-stamped with another copy of the results file. All data is saved so at any time the edited result can be un-edited.
Analyst V5.2 also features improved profiling and color printing capabilities with the ability to measure the profiles and set background correction points during peak search. In addition, the concentration units and the floating decimal point make it easier and more accurate for a large range of concentrations requiring multiple units, e.g. Pb 0.005 ppm or 5.0 ppb.
The task editor has been improved to allow a simpler implementation of the elements and wavelengths being analyzed for a given sample sequence. Other major features include: SPC (Statistical Process Control) for monitoring trends via X charts, R charts, histograms and SD charts with user defined upper and lower QC limits and ICP diagnostics providing hyper-text flow charts to aid a user with problems.
Finally, in command mode, "Time Scan" allows for continuous signal monitoring & transient signal capability providing the analyst the capability to do speciation work. In total, there are more than 15 new features and improvements.
